SENTRY spent four years developing their wastewater treatment product without any significant marketing or outreach to the water industry. In 2018, SENTRY’s participation in the Imagine H2O Accelerator gave them powerful new tools to identify and understand potential customers, new applications, and market opportunities. This was the single biggest catalyst in launching their product to a global audience.
In early 2020, SENTRY secured their first contract with Singapore PUB. They wanted to leverage this project as a key reference for exploring other opportunities in the Asia-Pacific. Imagine H2O Asia advised SENTRY on market entry, showcased the solution to its regional customer network, and ultimately helped secure new pilots with partners in Malaysia, Vietnam, and China.
As they continued their global expansion, SENTRY applied to the Urban Water Challenge to jumpstart a deployment in South America in partnership with leading water consultants and the World Bank. With this project, their platform assessed the resilience of existing wastewater treatment facilities that service 21M people.
This milestone brings them one step closer to being recognized as the industry standard—and making sure that no wastewater goes untreated.
