Eight Water Tech Startups Join Imagine H2O Asia’s Accelerator

Eight startups from four countries make up Imagine H2O Asia’s seventh cohort, bringing innovative water technologies to utilities and industrial users across the Asia Pacific.
Asia’s water infrastructure was built for a different era. Climate disruption, rapid urbanisation, and surging industrial demand are pushing it past its limits, leaving the utilities that serve millions struggling to keep up.
Major water users such as data centers, semiconductor manufacturers, and food producers are scaling rapidly across the region, and all operate under stricter regulations on discharge quality, water withdrawal limits, and environmental accountability.
Imagine H2O Asia‘s newest cohort adds to its growing portfolio of startups tackling these critical challenges.
Startups in the program benefit from activities, connections, and hands-on pilot resources designed to expand their market footprint in the region, including a platform to showcase their solutions at Singapore International Water Week in June 2026.

Industrial Efficiency and Resource Recovery
Reducing freshwater demand and recovering value from industrial waste streams.

EarthFokus (India)
Cooling towers are among the most water-intensive assets in industrial operations, continuously losing water through evaporation and blowdown but with no mechanism to recover it.
EarthFokus’ mechanical retrofit solution for cooling towers that captures evaporated water using passive condensation and recycles it back into the system, without disrupting existing operations or infrastructure.
Exposome (India)
Conventional tertiary treatment methods for wastewater, such as activated carbon, require significant physical footprint and generate waste streams that are costly to dispose of.
Exposome’s regenerable filtration media selectively captures industrial pollutants from air and water streams, enabling efficient removal of silica, nitrite and heavy metals to meet discharge standards while reducing operating costs.
NTi Technology (Singapore)
Membrane fouling accounts for >20% of operational expenditure in industrial water treatment plants, driven by early replacement costs and cleaning chemicals.
NTi’s hollow fibre poly-ceramic hybrid membranes deliver superior fouling resistance and chemical durability, enabling stable filtration performance in harsh industrial wastewater treatment and heat recovery applications.
Uravu Labs (India)
A single one-megawatt data centre can consume >25 million litres of water per year for conventional cooling processes, a figure that compounds rapidly as digital infrastructure expands.
Uravu’s closed-loop liquid desiccant process uses low-grade waste heat from data centres and industrial operations to produce distilled water — converting excess heat into a decentralized cooling water supply on site.

AquaOptima’s AI autopilot integrates directly with existing SCADA and PLC systems to autonomously optimise pump station scheduling and speed in real time, reducing energy use without needing hardware replacement.
Green Vigor (Hong Kong)
Buildings across Asia’s dense urban environments contain significant untapped hydraulic energy in their water tanks and cooling systems — energy that is currently lost entirely.
Green Vigor’s micro-hydro system converts water flow into renewable electricity, turning existing building tanks and cooling system infrastructure into power-generating assets with no additional civil works.
NM3 Tech (Singapore)
Tightening water quality regulations are only as effective as the evidence used to enforce them. Fragmented monitoring and validation workflows, and slow lab turnaround make timely data hard to produce.
NM3’s automated platform combines real-time monitoring, event-triggered sampling and laboratory validation across the chain of custody to delivering enforcement-ready evidence for regulators across municipal and industrial settings.
Resistomap Oy (Finland)
Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most critical public health threats globally, yet most wastewater systems have no real-time visibility into how resistance patterns are spreading through communities.
Resistomap’s testing and analytics platform uses high-throughput qPCR to track antimicrobial resistance and pathogen trends in wastewater, enabling early detection and timely response to emerging public health risks.
