Global entrepreneurs: The program is open to global applicants that can demonstrate a commitment to building their business in the Asia-Pacific.
Regional/Singapore-based entrepreneurs: The program is open to earlier-stage applicants from Singapore or the wider region.
Market ready solutions that address Asia’s water challenges: While successful applicants may be new to the Asia-Pacific, they must demonstrate a commitment to testing and deploying their solution in the region.

Imagine H2O Accelerator 2020, Urban Water Challenge III
Water Quality
Varuna joined Imagine H2O with an early product and a clear mission: to provide uncontaminated water to 1B people. Their research found that small- and medium-sized water utilities lacked visibility on quality beyond their plant, creating water quality issues for their customers.
Jamail and Seyi created affordable sensors with an intuitive dashboard for reporting unsafe changes in chlorine levels and turbidity. They leveraged the Imagine H2O Accelerator and Urban Water Challenge to close their $2.6M seed round, gain new customers in the Great Lakes and Gulf Coast regions, and receive a grant from Google’s Black Founders Fund.
Varuna is further empowering underserved communities by piloting their utility water quality monitoring system in predominantly African-American areas of Trenton, NJ and Monroe, LA. Their next move is to train at least one technician from within these communities to manage and maintain the monitoring units, gain technical skills, and advance their careers.

We had an exciting week at the UN Water Conference! Innovation takes Center Stage: Aquacycl and FieldFactors took top honors at the Boiling Point pitch competition hosted by Imagine H2O and Wavin.
